The Cliffs Pavilion is the largest purpose-built performing arts venue in Essex and presents in excess of 300 performances each year across a wide range of live entertainment from ballet, opera and classical music, through to top-name comedians and singers, to West End musicals, stand-up rock concerts and the largest pantomime in the South East.
Located 45 miles from Central London it is ideally placed for large-scale concerts and presentations. Audiences regularly travel in excess of 30 miles to attend shows and the venue’s comprehensive ticketing system frequently out-sells major national ticketing agencies with hot-ticket events selling out in a matter of hours!
Top-name entertainers appearing recently at the Cliffs Pavilion include Robbie Williams, Michael McIntyre, Gary Barlow, Russell Brand, Nigel Kennedy, Michael Bolton, Dawn French, Bryan Adams, Lee Mack, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, with major productions such as Barnum, Riverdance, Tonight’s The Night, Starlight Express, Avenue Q, Legally Blonde, Jersey Boys and The Bodyguard all selling to record levels.
The Cliffs Pavilion is open all day, every day from 10am serving teas and coffees, cakes and pastries and freshly-made sandwiches and baguettes in the Foyer Bar overlooking the Thames Estuary. The Pavilion Restaurant is open throughout the week between 2pm – 4pm serving afternoon tea and on Sunday from 12 noon until 3pm serving traditional Sunday lunch. Before every evening show the restaurant also offers specially created menus for top-quality pre-show dining moments from the actual show.
